𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗦𝗔) conducted an informative lecture on Civil Registration and the National ID Check

In celebration of the Civil Registration Month, the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗦𝗔) conducted an informative lecture on Civil Registration and the National ID Check last February 27, 2025. The session was spearheaded by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗠. 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮, Supervising Statistical Specialist Officer in Charge, alongside a team of dedicated PSA personnel.

Key speakers included 𝗠𝘀. 𝗜𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗠. 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗱, Unit Head/Registration Office II, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗕. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮ñ𝗮, PhilSys Focal Person, who provided in-depth insights on the importance of civil registration and the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). They were assisted by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗧. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼, BRAP Coordinator, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗿 𝗚. 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲, Statistical Analyst.

This session aimed to raise awareness and educate the public on the importance of Civil Registration and National Identification in a person’s life, as well as the essential roles these systems play in national development and ensuring access to various services.
