Maila Rosario College proudly held its FIRST TESTIMONIAL DINNER for the newly licensed criminologists last November 09, 2024! The college celebrated its event with the esteemed guest of honor, ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ข ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐จ๐๐จ๐๐ก, the Provincial Director of the Cagayan Provincial Police Office. The Provincial Director made a powerful speech at the event that was filled with beautiful words of inspiration, dedication, perseverance, and shared fruit of labor.
A special highlight of the event was the recognition of ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป, the ๐ง๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ผ๐ฝ๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ of the Board Examination for Criminologists last August 2024. Mark, a proud graduate of Maila Rosario College from Vintar, Ilocos Norte, delivered his speech during the honoring of the newly licensed criminologists. He began by introducing himself as well as thanking God, his family, friends, and the faculty at Maila Rosario College for their never-ending support and being the ones who gave him the chance to fulfill his dreams. Mark narrated the difficulties he encountered during his childhood which include family and the financial problems that forced him at one point to leave school. Through all these obstacles, he unexpectedly found power in the adversity, studying while earning some money, and later he was financially supported by his aunt and uncle, who sponsored him in his college education. Mark transferred to the Maila Rosario College after he encountered some difficulties in his former school, where he was unable to graduate on time because of rigorous academic policies. At Maila Rosario College, he grew in such a supportive and reassuring environment that his confidence came back, and he then successfully finished his studies. After his college years, he happily made it as one of the top examinees in the Criminology Licensure Examination in the region with an average of 89.55. Mark emphasized the importance of aiming high in oneโs dreams, using challenges and setbacks as the fuel to get to the top. He credited his success to his determination, the sacrifices of his family, and the values instilled by Maila Rosario College, which opened door for him and the other graduates leading them to realize their dreams. He concluded by celebrating the achievements of his co-graduates and expressing his hope for a bright future in criminology, then took time to commend Maila Rosario College for being a major part of their success and for offering a valuable education that prepared them for life.
